Green-petaled sunflowers and purple artichokes with wine ball dahlias, plum hellebores, and burgundy lisianthus. Looped bear grass curls through the middle, burgundy burnet shoots off the side, and ninebark and copper beech ground it in a fluted glass vase. Strange Magic is named for the ELO song. It's our most unique seasonal arrangement, rebuilt every season from whatever the garden is doing that's a little odd and very beautiful.
